Chrome extension — common questions
How do I install the extension?
Install the Sellenca extension from the Chrome Web Store. It works in any Chromium-based browser, such as Chrome or Edge. Then open WhatsApp Web and the Sellenca panel appears in the sidebar.
How do I sign in?
Sign in to the sidebar with your Sellenca account: the email and password you signed up with, or the ones your company admin created for you. If you are already signed in to the Sellenca workspace, you can also click “Connect Sidebar” there to connect instantly. You need a Sellenca account to use the extension.
What does the extension read, and where is the data processed?
Sellenca reads a conversation only when a rep actively uses it (save, analyze, translate); it does not scan your chats in the background. That data is stored in your company’s own isolated Sellenca workspace (Supabase, AWS us-west-1, USA). To draft replies and translate, the relevant text is sent to the AI and translation providers listed in our Privacy Policy.
Does Sellenca send messages or train AI on my chats?
No. Sellenca only places a draft in the WhatsApp input box; nothing is sent to a customer until a rep presses send. We do not use your conversations or knowledge to train shared models across customers, and we do not sell personal data.
